2 Carat Diamond Engagement Rings

The average price of a 2-carat diamond engagement ring depends on a range of factors, from the type of diamond you choose, to the quality of its cut or colour. If you select a ring that has accent diamonds, such as a halo or trilogy, this will also drive up the price of your design.

For a classic 2-carat solitaire set in white gold with a good quality natural diamond, please expect between £10 000 to £30 000 and higher, excluding VAT. More affordable alternatives can be found with lab-grown diamonds, with prices situated around the £5000 mark.

Carats measure a diamond’s weight, not size. Certain diamonds have deeper cuts that ‘hide’ visible carat weight and can make a diamond appear smaller.
