We're delighted to announce that 77 Diamonds has landed in Copenhagen, one of Europe's most stylish and accessible cities. The perfect destination for a weekend of eating, drinking and shopping, read on for the 77 Guide to making the most of 24 hours in Copenhagen, including a trip to our very first high-street store.

24 Hours in Copenhagen

A Luxury Stay

Villa Copenhagen is an easy 4-stop train ride directly from the city airport, and ideally placed to make the perfect base for a night in the Danish capital. Be sure to start your trip the Scandi way with a power swim in the rooftop pool before an enlivening sauna. It’ll set you up for 24 hours of eating, drinking, shopping and sightseeing in the Danish capital.

Breakfast Like a Local

It’s time to hit the city streets, specifically the vibrant Meatpacking District, for a hearty breakfast at cult ‘bageri’ Hart. You’ll find outposts of this trendy bakery across the city, serving locals and tourists alike. Order like a Dane and go for bolle med smør og ost (BMO for short), a fresh rye bread roll filled with whipped butter and comte. The cardamom bun is also a must-try.

Diamond Shopping

Next up, it’s time to plan a visit to our very first store location on Bredgade, one of the most historically significant streets in Copenhagen. Originally known as Norgesgade, it was officially renamed Bredgade in the 19th century and is home to a number of prestigious galleries, antique dealers, and architectural landmarks. Bredgade is where tradition meets contemporary design, making it the perfect setting for our newest space.

Reffen Street Market

Up for an adventure? Make like the Danes, grab a bike and head out of town to Reffen, the largest street food market in Northern Europe. This waterfront oasis is much more than a lunch spot, it's a destination for live music, arts festivals, parties and socialising by the waterside.

Swim in the Canal

A short walk from the Street Market is the Søndre Refshalebassin Harbour Bath. Open 24 hours a day, all year round, this is one of the many points around the city where locals go to take a dip in clear, clean canal water. They’re completely free to use and a great way to enjoy a very Danish pastime.

A Hidden Treasure

After swimming up an appetite, it’s time to head to one of the most scenic, not to mention trendy, restaurants in town, Apollo Bar & Restaurant can be found tucked away at the Royal Danish Academy of Art. Enjoy an aperitif in the beautiful courtyard before taking a seat in the lofty restaurant space, furnished with traditional Danish design and serving small plates of delicious seasonal European fare. Reservations essential.
