Why choose platinum?

After many years of wear, your platinum ring may develop what is known as a patina finish, which gives the metal a slightly clouded sheen. As pure platinum is quite soft, our wedding rings are alloyed with another metal, tungsten, to increase hardness. This is why you’ll notice the number “950” on our platinum designs, indicating the ring is 95% platinum and 5% alloy. This alloy also makes our platinum wedding rings completely hypoallergenic.
