The Elizabeth Taylor Collection is being shown in New York for the final time before it goes to auction. Christie’s auction house in Manhattan will be exhibiting the collection of iconic pieces until they go under the hammer on December 13th-16th. Also, it is the first and last time that the entire collection will be shown together in one place.
The auction is expected to fetch around $50 million. Highlights include the Elizabeth Taylor Diamond, which was a gift from Taylor’s husband Richard Burton in 1968. This alone is expected to fetch up to $3.5 million!
