77’s signature cut, carefully curated for your moment. Experience breathtaking sparkle through advanced diamond technology.
77 Diamonds is working alongside Clarity Diamond™ to provide you the highest quality lab diamonds within the industry. Here’s what makes them unique.
Clarity Diamond’s cutting-edge technology produces diamonds through a patented process, allowing precision-controlled growth that maximises quality and sparkle.
Using the CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) method, a thin slice of ‘seed’ diamond is placed in a sealed chamber. A carbon-rich gas is then introduced and transformed into plasma through microwave energy, heating it to over 3000 °C. The chemistry created releases carbon atoms that adhere to the diamond seed and replicate it to grow a new stone.
Unlike other methods that are often interrupted while the diamond is still growing, Clarity Diamond increases a stone’s quality through slow, uninterrupted growth. This reduces visible inclusions and eliminates the need to apply any treatment or colour enhancement to the diamond after growth.
Typical CVD processes grow diamonds in stages to increase efficiency and output; however, this can negatively impact a stone’s overall quality through what is known as ‘growth layers.’

By growing a diamond in stages, growth layers can sometimes appear within the stone where the process was interrupted. As light enters the diamond and reaches a growth layer, a scattering effect occurs, multiplied at each layer as light continues to travel through the diamond. This can severely impact a diamond's sparkle and overall quality.

Every Cupid’s Ideal diamond is created in a single growth process, meaning these diamonds never show growth layers. By cutting each stone to exacting standards, we offer the highest quality lab-grown diamonds without compromising on craftsmanship or integrity.

Single growth Cupid's Ideal diamond
Due to the method through which most lab-growns are created, they frequently result in poor colour, and many diamond producers prefer to enhance a lab diamond’s colour by treating it after growth.
Cupid’s Ideal diamonds, due to their inherent beauty and extraordinary colour, never require such treatment — they are perfect just as they are.
‘Vi er stolte av å være i forkant av innovasjon innen den laboratoriedyrkede industrien, og søker alltid å forbedre kvaliteten og håndverket vårt. Vårt samarbeid med 77 Diamonds bringer kundene nærmere premiumstandardene de fortjener og forventer.’
Similar to our Cupid’s Ideal cut for natural diamonds, each laboratory-grown diamond from our selection benefits from a triple excellent grading — Cut, Polish and Symmetry. This excellence can be seen through a distinct hearts & arrows pattern, created by perfectly symmetrical diamond facets.
All diamonds from the Cupid’s Ideal range are graded by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America). Our round diamonds also show an AGS (American Gem Society) light performance grading — a benchmark for diamond quality.
Every Cupid’s Lab-grown diamond has its certification number laser-inscribed. This inscription is not visible to the naked-eye, but assures the diamond you choose is yours and yours only.
Cupid’s Lab-grown diamonds are grown within a state-of-the-art facility in Austin, Texas. By purchasing a stone from this selection, you can be assured your sparkling piece is responsibly sourced with proof of origin.
