Continuing on from part one, we bring you even more of the top celebrity engagement rings! With a seemingly endless budget, celebrities are renowned for their extravagant and luxurious jewellery, designed by the best in the world. These stunners range from simple elegance, to extreme bling, but no matter what the style these rings all go for a hefty price!

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey’s engagement ring from her current husband and singer Nick Cannon, is equally extravagant. Her $2.5 million engagement ring by Jacob and Co. is a 17-carat emerald cut diamond surrounded with pink diamonds and two half-moon diamonds.

The proposal

The two singers met on the set of Mariah’s video.  Nick proposed marriage to Mariah by hiding her engagement ring inside a candy Ring Pop, due to her taste for candy.  The couple now celebrate their anniversary each year with a new ring and glamorous celebration!

Ivanka Trump

Trump heiress, real estate guru and jewellery entrepreneur got engaged to another financial tycoon, Jared Kushner, which meant that the ring had to be something special.  Ivanka wears a 6-carat cushion-cut diamond mounted on a platinum ring from her own signature collection – the Ivanka Trump Jewellery Line.

The proposal

Having been together for two years, Ivanka’s husband Jared proposed in July, 2009.

Christina Aguilera

Aguilera’s ring was described as a “Platinum ring set with a combination of Brilliant & Princess-cut diamonds and hand filigree detail.” It is a “five-carat, diamond-and-platinum engagement ring”.

The designer and jeweller was Stephen Webster who also designed an exclusive engagement piece for music executive husband Jordan Bratman who doesn’t like wearing rings. So Webster designed the "Wedlock"; a detachable 18ct white gold pendant that can be worn around the neck, with an embedded wedding band. It can be removed and worn on the finger when required. Aguilera’s wedding band is a diamond-set platinum ring comprised of two ’side rails’ that fit on each side of her engagement ring.

The proposal

The couple met several years ago at Christina's management Company, Azoff Music Management, where they were introduced by Christina's manager.  They got engaged to each other in Carmel, California: Jordan had decorated their hotel room with flowers, balloons, poetry, and gift, concluding the gesture with the ring.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Coldplay front-man Chris Martin proposed to Gwyneth Paltrow with a stunning Asscher cut diamond with a micro pave frame and double band.

The proposal

The pair met backstage at a summer Coldplay gig and in 2003 despite keeping the news quiet, Paltrow was spotted wearing the engagement ring.  They got married in secret, shortly after announcing Gwyneth’s first pregnancy.
