So, how did you two meet?
Claire: I was on holiday in Tenerife visiting my dad when I walked into a bar and asked for the WiFi password. The bartender made me laugh, and we became friends. Fast forward four years, that bartender introduced me to his brother, Adam, and fast forward a few years more — he became my future husband!
Adam and I quickly formed a friendship, but due to the pandemic, I wasn’t able to travel for two years. When I finally returned, we grew closer, and from the moment he kissed me, we knew we were meant to be.
What happened during the proposal?
Adam: I knew Claire was the one pretty quickly, and by March 2023, I started searching for the perfect ring. I must have designed it 17 times on your website before I got it just right!
When it came to proposing, I wanted to create something unforgettable. I arranged a surprise disguised as a simple tour of a banana plantation near Tenerife. As we reached the cliffs of Los Gigantes at sunset, a breathtaking picnic was set up, overlooking the ocean. That’s when I got down on one knee and asked Claire to marry me. And, of course, she said yes.
Claire: It was just perfect. I feel that my ring is completely personal because Adam designed it, and I absolutely love it.
