CCTV footage of Lindsay Lohan’s now infamous trip to a Venice Beach jeweller have been aired on US show Entertainment Tonight in the States.
Snippets of footage taken by the security cameras of the jewellers Kamofie & Co were broadcast whilst lawyers drafted in by the show and unrelated to the case gave an analysis of the evidence. Lohan is due in court on Thursday when her legal representation will notify a judge whether the actress will accept a plea deal as she faces charges of grand theft felony. The charges were brought against the Mean Girls actress following the disappearance of a $2,500 necklace from the store, which Lohan was later papped wearing.
However, this is not Lohan’s first run-in with the law as last year she spent a short-time in jail after repeatedly missing her hearings for a DUI charge that occurred in 2007. However, theft has never been far from the actress either as in 2009 it was suspected that she had stolen hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of Dior fine jewellery on an Elle magazine shoot.
