Reality TV star Kim Kardashian turned 30 last week and although she was presented with a fair few cakes and gifts, there was one baked good she had to turn down. Nino Selimaj of Nino restaurant had made the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star a diamond-encrusted cake as a gift to the birthday girl, rumoured to be worth $1million and it was set to be unveiled last Friday before Kardashian put the stoppers on it.
Indeed Kim has had a good birthday run, with the celebrations kicking off on Kim's actual birthday last Thursday in Las Vegas at Tao nightclub, where she was presented with an audacious red and black tiered cake with the venue's logo. However, just two days later she was at Tao's New York branch, where she was presented with yet another ornately decorated birthday sponge. She has since held bashes in Toronto and on a yacht with friends and family in New York harbour. Girl knows how to party.
It is believed that the rejected diamond-encrusted cake will be offered to Nino restaurant customers instead...guess it makes a change from the wine bumping up the bill.
