On the 20 October, Christie's will hold its latest auction in New York which is expected to achieve in excess of $40 million in total. The highlight of the auction, Christie's Jewels: The New York Sale is set to be the sale of The Bulgari Blue, a diamond and blue diamond set ring.
The Bulgari Blue is the largest triangular-shaped Fancy Vivid Blue diamond ever put up at auction, which is expected to fetch in excess of $12 million dollars. However, the sale is for a good cause, as all proceeds from it go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
