Antwerp diamond firms will feature at India Show to strengthen presence

The 27th India International Jewellery Show in Mumbai, India is set to go ahead next month on August 19th to 23rd. 2010 will be the third consecutive year in which the Antwerp Diamond Pavilion has been the centrepiece at the India International Jewellery Show.

As primary features of the show, 14 diamond companies from Antwerp in Belgium will be exhibiting in the Antwerp Diamond Pavilion in order to promote their jewellery and give a higher profile and presence during the show as a whole. This pavilion is part of the newly dedicated section for loose stones and is situated in Hall 1 of the NSE Complex in Mumbai, India.

The event advertises itself as offering “a unique opportunity to view the brightest and best that the country has to offer”. The Show is the biggest of its kind in India and is gradually making a name for itself as one of the largest jewellery trade exhibition shows in Asia. The event shows off many of its special pieces using top fashion models to wear the jewellery in a spectacular fashion show.

The diamond production firms will be joining over 30,000 different jewellery retailers and experts from the diamond industry who will be visiting and participating in the Mumbai Show.

The show will host many different exhibitors from a background in diamonds, pearls, gold, silver, platinum and all types of gemstones and jewellery – both antique and modern in style.
